Florentino R. Quintanilla, age 69 (born May 31, 1939 in Stockdale, TX) of Stockdale passed away January 6, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando & Inez (Rivas) Quintanilla and brothers Rene and Daniel Quintanilla. He is survived by his son, Jessie Quintanilla; daughter, JoAnne Quintanilla; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Lorenzo & wife Delores, Sam & wife Rosa, Fernando, Frank & wife Mary, and Rudy; sisters, Ella Trevino & husband Dan, Frances Guerra, Clara Quintanilla, Lucy Lerma & husband Jesse, Mary Ann Trevino, Sylvia Quintanilla and Janie Villarreal & husband Rudy; and girlfriend, Emma Villareal. Visitation will take place Thursday, 5PM-8PM at Finch Funeral Chapel-Stockdale with a rosary recited at 7PM.
