Beatrice Pennell Ulbrich was born April 25, 1912 in Gonzales County to the late Edgar J. and Dora Henrietta Cobb Pennell. She died Wednesday morning, September 10, 2008 in San Antonio at the age of 96 years, 4 months, and 15 days. She married George J. Ulbrich in San Antonio on February 15, 1991. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1997.
She is survived by two daughters: Jeane Presnell, of Lakehills, TX; Marjorie Bannon, of Windcrest, TX; a sister, Ruth Meyer, of Melbourn, FL; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Graveside Services will be held at the Nixon Cemetery on Tuesday, Sept. 16th, at 2:30 P.M. with the Rev. Rudolf Harst officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
