Susie C. (Silva) Uriegas of Sutherland Springs, Texas passed away on April 14, 2014 at the age of 80. She was born on December 5, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas to Paul and Angelita (Castano) Silva. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruperto N. Uriegas Jr.; parents; 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Susie is survived by her sons, Joe Uriegas (Stella), Victor Uriegas (Mary Lou), Ernest Uriegas (Annette), Gabriel Uriegas (Debbie), Armando Uriegas, and Rene Uriegas; daughters, Molly Bononcini (Joe), Mary Ann Gonzales (Lorenzo), Loretta Gilmore (Roy), and Rachel Gutierrez (Jesse); 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; siblings, Teresa Riojas and Albert Silva; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many loving friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at the funeral home.
