David Lane O’Neal Sr., age 64 of Nixon, died July 9, 2014 in Seguin. He was born January 4, 1950 in Leesville, Texas to the late George Nicklos (Nick) and Dorothy Davis O’Neal. He is survived by his wife, Donna West O’Neal; children: David L. (Kyle) O’Neal Jr. and wife Betty, Denay Simpson and husband Steve, Matthew Abrameit; grandchildren: Justin O’Neal, Andrew Simpson, Cotter Simpson; sister, Genelda Brooks; numerous nieces and nephews, and other loving family and friends.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 12th at 11:00 AM at the Nixon Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the cemetery an hour prior to the service. The Rev. Jack Shuford and the Rev. Terry Davis will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
