Heaven received another angel on February 3, 2015 when Frank B. John peacefully passed away surrounded by family at the age of 87. He was born in Garfield, Texas on July 2, 1927 to Thomas and Josie John. He retired from Lone Star Brewery after 37 years, was a veteran of World War II, and a master craftsman. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, gardening, and country western dancing. His legacy is one of great wisdom, integrity, love, and wit. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, Patrick and siblings, Anton, Sally, Bill, Betty, and Tommy. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 61 years,
Pauline; siblings, Edward, Daniel, and Margaret; children, Carl (Rita), Rita (Jerry), Debbie, Pat, Doug (Amber), and Jimmy (Lisa); grandchildren, Melissa (David), Brandon (Jennifer), Chris (Jennifer), Kira (Chris), Amber, Danielle, John, Shelby, Frank, Sheldon, Jessica, and Shaun D.; great-grandchildren, Blake, Dylan, Riley, Luke, Payton, Layton, Layla, Matthew, and soon to be born Graycen; treasured neighbors, Donna Schneider, Raymond and Ersaline Kelly, Nacho and Lilly Garcia, Minnie Garcia, and the Hurons; many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
