James Jonas Egan, age 83, of Adkins, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015. James was born November 26, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to George Edward and Elizabeth Lee (Jaeke) Egan. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Robert Egan and sister, Martha LaBroad. James is survived by his wife, Avril Egan; children, Kristine Egan (Mack), Kimber Egan; grandson, Joseph Cody Egan; canine companion, “Watson”; sisters-in-law, Cherry K. Thompson and husband Arthur, Della Gillbanks and husband Allen; father-in-law, Leonard Wilkinson, numerous nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
