June Lee Jones, age 84, passed away February 8, 2016 at her home in Gonzales. She was born on June 7, 1931 in Memphis, Texas, to Garland and Ruby (House) Weatherly. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Dennis W. Jones; a grandson, Adrian Mendiola; and a sister, Betty Weatherly. June is survived by her husband of 69 years, Dennis Jones; two daughters: Sharon K. Jones and Beverly J. Jones; grandchildren: Anthony Dorado, Andrew Dorado, Jeremy Kintz and Jeffery Kintz; her great-grandchildren: Sydney Kintz, Meredith, Matthew, Troy Dorado; Marrisa, Kendall, Samantha Gidcomb; Kaelyn, Maddox, Lilly, Noah Kintz; Josie Shaw and Milee Day.

The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 13th at 11:00 AM at Memorial Heights Baptist Church in Gonzales with visitation held one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Clint Lowery will officiate. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, Feb. 15th at 11:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
