Rudy Quintanilla entered into eternal rest on February 10, 2016 at the age of 65. He was born on June 11, 1950 to Fernando V. and Inez (Rivas) Quintanilla in Stockdale, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fernando Jr., Florentino, Daniel, and Rene Quintanilla; and sister, Frances Guerra. Rudy is survived by his daughters, Brenda Trevino (Tim), Joni Palacios (Ernie), and Tina Q. Boone (Ryan); 9 grandchildren; brothers, Lorenzo Quintanilla (Dolores) Sam Quintanilla (Rosa), and Frank Quintanilla (Mary); sisters, Ella Trevino (Dan), Clara Rangel, Lucy Lerma (Jessie), Mary Ann Trevino, Sylvia Quintanilla, and Janie Villarreal (Rudy); sister-in-law, Diana Quintanilla; beloved companion, Jennifer Layne; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Finch Funeral Chapel- Stockdale and the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening at the funeral home.
