Filiberto C. “Beto” Franco, age 88, of Nixon passed away August 5, 2016 in Seguin. He was born September 13, 1927 in Helena, Texas to the late Francisco and Angelita (Casarez) Franco. Beto is survived by two daughters: Mary Maldonado of Nixon, Guadalupe Rangel and husband Adrian of Nixon; two sons: Frankie Franco and wife Deyanira of Smiley, Filiberto Franco Jr. of San Antonio; a sister, Emilia Valdez of Nixon; a brother, Anselmo Morales of Floresville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; as well as other loving family and many friends.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 4:00PM – 8:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon with a Rosary recited at 6:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon. Interment will follow at the Nixon Latin American Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made by way of Mass Cards.
