Tommy Maxine (Ricketson) Witt, age 94, of Round Rock, passed away on September 6, 2016. She was born May 12, 1922 in Milam County, Texas to Roy and Pearl (Gilley) Ricketson. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers: Wardell, Neil, Dale and Glenn Ricketson; 2 sisters: Prudence Turberville and Syble Pate; and her husband, Joe Everett Witt on February 16, 2001. They were married in Edcouch, Texas on September 25, 1942. She is survived by her sons: Leland Witt, Sr. and wife Linda of Driscoll, TX, Albert Dale Witt of Round Rock, TX, Elton Witt and wife Susan of Seabrook, TX; grandchildren: Lawrence Witt and wife Tracey, Leland Witt Jr. and wife Angie, Shelly Monse and husband Jimmy, Laura Hall and husband Jason, Leslie Witt, Amanda Layton and husband Eric, Lizzy Stowe and husband Matt, Abby Witt, Elliot Witt and wife Megan, Lotus Bermudez and husband Tino, and Ginger Witt; 25 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving family and friends.

The Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Nixon Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
