Anita Cisneros, age 97, of El Campo and formerly of Stockdale, passed away on November 6, 2016 in Gonzales. She was born in Cuero, Texas on June 22, 1919. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Garcia and Susana Garcia Riojas; her husband, Fernando Cisneros; a daughter, Olivia Cisneros; three grandchildren: Cruz Jr., Pamfilo and Robert Cazarez; and her sister, Sabina Cazarez. She is survived by her children: Marcella Adame of Duncanville, Maria Gonzales and husband Frank of Westhoff, Emil Cisneros and wife Rachel of Garland; eleven grandchildren: Fernando, Richard, Hilario, Olivia, Theresa, Gloria, Linda, Emil Jr., Anita, Marcus and Veronica; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-granddaughter; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Manuel Lerma and the Rev. Rene Amaya officiating. Interment will follow at the Stockdale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
