Isaac R. Pompa age 66, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in Amarillo, TX. Isaac was born May 1, 1950 in Karnes City, TX to Frank and Lucille Pompa. He graduated from Nixon High School in 1972. Isaac married Aurelia “Ree” Saldana in Seguin, TX September 23, 1971. To this union two boys were born. Isaac Robert Pompa Jr. and Jeff Pompa. Isaac worked for Western Sales and Testing where he held several positions and did a lot of traveling. He retired in September of 2015 after 40 years of dedicated service. Isaac was preceded in death by his son Isaac Robert Pompa Jr.; Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ree; son Jeff; parents, Frank and Lucille Pompa of Nixon, TX; brothers Ruben Pompa wife Vickie of Amarillo, TX, and Noah Pompa of Seguin, TX; sisters, Martha Pape husband Will of Seguin, Magdalene DeLeon husband Eusebio of Smiley, TX; granddaughter, Jordan Pompa of Amarillo TX; one great granddaughter and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Isaac enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping in the mountains especially around Red River, New Mexico, traveling and listening to all types of music. He also enjoyed the thrill and excitement of racing. Isaac loved the Lord and always thanked him for the many blessings he received. He attended Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo. His many friends and family will miss his laughter and his sweet and loving spirt. A visitation will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 4:00P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon with a Prayer Service at 6:00 P.M. that same evening.
