Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Virgil's passing. He was the finest man and I loved him as if he were my own family. I don't have many heroes in this world. One was my Dad; I guess my brother is one; and Virgil McCann was the other. I never heard him speak evil, and he was only ever pleasant to be around- so much so that it was hard to leave when I was visiting with him. I wish I would have known in time to get to the funeral to pay my respects to the family. I want the family to know that they have a friend in me always because of him, should they need me. May God bless His family always.

Condolence: Virgie and family,

We are so sorry for your loss. We know Heaven gained an Angel. Virgie, you and Virgil were and are an example of how love is to be showed and shared. I remember years ago, you getting all dolled up and you and Virgil heading off for the weekend. The two of you are and were an inspiration to whom ever crossed your path. Thank you for all the life lessons you two bestowed upon me and my children.

Kids, I love you all and miss you. Hope to meet up with you all soon. Sorry I could not make it down.
I am so sorry for your loss, but remember the legacy Virgil and Virgie have created, no one can change and you all have so much to be proud of.

Love always,
Melody and family

Condolence: We are so sorry for your loss. Virgil was a great man, and one of the greastest, kindest pillars of our community. His smile was always wonderful and bright. It is so sad to hear we lost a great man. Even sadder not to drive by his place in Nixon and not see him standing there by his wrecker smiling.

Condolence: Virgil meant the world to our family. He employed my brothers for many years, he treated them as his own family and this alone spoke volumes to us. When John passed away he was the first to stop by and offer his condolences. I still remember how he proudly spoke of his own family that day, bringing out his wallet to show me pictures of those he lost and those he still had. He had so much love for everyone, and was loved in return by everyone. We are so sorry for your family's loss, he truly will be missed.

Condolence From: Jimmy &Joyce Landrum ,family
Condolence: We were so shocked and sadden hearing about the passing of Virgil . We have known him for many years .I myself knew Virgil and Virgie way before Jimmy when I was 19 or 20 years old after my dad passed away and I was working on high Way 80 at the old Dairy Queen . I would be at the Window and they would come by to get a soda or what ever they wanted at the time . Virgie and Girls and Grandchildren and family Please know Virgil was a man that all the children should remember every great and good thing he did for his friends and follow in his foot steps because he is now in Heaven with the angels and still smiling down on you all .He lived a very long happy life . I notice his service is on his wedding anniversary which I know is hard for Virgie ,but they will be together again on a much better anniversary walking down streets of gold hand in hand . Hold on to God`s unchanging Hand and know that he is in heaven now with his son Curtis and other family members . Our prayers are with you all through this trying time . We Love You all and Jesus does as well . God`s Blessings to all.

Condolence: We are so sorry for your loss. Virgil was a person of integrity and compassion, and his word was his bond. He was always willing to put himself out to help others. We will remember him as a kind and generous gentleman who we could depend upon whenever and wherever he was needed. These are rare qualities in this day and age. The world was a better place with him in it. Virgil will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

God bless you all during this very difficult time.

Condolence: Virgil was, without a doubt, the sweetest man I have ever known. He cared for others and devoted his life to making this world a better place - I can think of no higher compliment. I remember with appreciation the friendship he shared with my uncle. My prayers for peace are with the family.
