Obituary for Julian G Torres
Julian G. Torres, 87, of Runge, passed away January 10, 2017. He was born October 15, 1929, in Runge to the late Magdaleno and Rosenda Garza Torres.
Julian was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Irenia Escamila, Reynaldo Torres, Mauro Torres Sr, Alfonso Torres and Magdaleno Torres Sr; children, Eloy & Elisa P Torres, Richard P Torres, Joe Julian P Torres and Eddy P Torres; grandchildren, Billy J Aguilar, Domingo Aguilar, Rebecca Aguilar, John Torres, Joseph Mendoza and Jerome Mendoza.
He is survived by his children, Eloisa T Martinez, Yolanda T Aguilar, Adam R Torres, Maria E Benavides, Adelaida T Laijas, and Cynthia P Torres; 38 grandchildren and 133 great-grandchildren; sisters, Soila Ruiz and Soveida Fonsecca; brothers, Elisandro Torres and Ramiro Torres.
Visitation will be 5-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm, Friday, January 13, 2017, Finch Funeral Chapel – Runge. Funeral Mass will be at 10am, Saturday, January 14, 2017, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Runge with Rev. Norbert Herman officiating. Burial will follow at Runge Latin American Cemetery.
