On February 5, 2017, Magdalen M. Ibrom passed away in La Vernia, Texas at the age of 75. Magdalen was born on July 21, 1941 in Wilson County, Texas to Joseph Winkler and Rosalie (Dlugosh) Winkler. On February 4, 1961, Magdalen married Alphonse H. Ibrom in St. Hedwig, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents. Magdalen is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Alphonse "Al" Ibrom; daughter, Joyce Johnston and husband Doug; son, Mark Ibrom; grandchildren, Kurtis Johnston, Brett Johnston, Wyatt Johnston, Garrett Johnston, Chloe Ibrom and Jacob Ibrom; brothers, John Winkler and wife Mary, and Jerry Winkler and wife Mary Jo; sister-in-law, Gladys Stanush; brother-in-law, Raymond Ibrom; mother-in-law, Irene Ibrom; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.
