Obituary for Michael S. Brock

On March 6, 2017, Michael S. Brock of La Vernia, Texas passed away unexpectedly at the age of 45. Michael was born on November 26, 1971 in El Paso, Texas, to Stephen H. Brock and Cindy (Crowe) Brock. On February 21, 2001, he married his sweetheart, Brenda Richter in Denton County, Texas. Michael served his country in the United States Navy. At the time of his passing, he was a Senior System Analyst for the Education Department at UTSA. Michael is preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Crowe and grandfather, Harold Crowe. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 16 years, Brenda (Richter) Brock; daughters, Jamie Brock and Katelyn Brock; brothers, Paul Brock, John Brock, and Kevin Ivey; mother, Cindy Brock (fiancée, Bob Flatt); and father, Stephen Brock (step-mother, Dédre); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, and other loving relatives. A visitation will be held at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas on Sunday, March 12, 2016 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.
