Scelia Buchanan Adams, 78, of San Antonio, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 4, 2017. Scelia was born on June 23, 1938 in Terre Haute, Indiana to James D. Buchanan and Dorothy Fields Buchanan. She is preceded in death by her parents; companion, Martin Krzywosinski; siblings, James Buchanan, George Buchanan, Jayne Buchanan, Michael Buchanan, Andrew Buchanan, Stanley Buchanan, Jeffrey Buchanan, and Sherwood Buchanan. Scelia is survived by her daughters, Susan Adams Christie (John), Cindy Adams Jendrusch (Greg); grandchildren, Travis Christie (Jackie), John Christie; Ginny Riser Miller (Josh), Matthew Jendrusch (Theresa), Robert Christie (Shannon), Zachary Jendrusch (Megan), Zachary Riser (Tori), and Zeke Riser; great-grandchildren, Jacob Miller, James Miller, Joseph Miller, Carson Christie, Mathew Christie, Emma Jendrusch, Quinn Christie, and Karlee Riser; siblings, Stephen Robert Buchanan (Elizabeth), Anna Girard (Gerald), Sara Gearlds (Wayne), and Jennifer Walters (Randy). A visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm.
