Obituary for Billy Black

Billy  Black
Billy Black, age 80, passed away at home on April 8, 2017. Billy was born on June 23, 1936 in Kerrville, Texas to Q.P. Black and Hattie Gross Black. On October 2, 1971, he married Salome V. Perez in Bexar County, Texas. Billy was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and went on to work for City Public Service for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Faleana Lynn Gonzalez; and son, Billy Black. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Salome Black; daughter, Karla Black; son, Clint Black; grandchildren, Robert “Bobby” Gonzalez III, Reilly Gonzalez, and Mikayla Gonzalez; son-in-law, Robert Gonzalez II; sisters, Thelma Smith and Betty Taylor; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 5:00pm-6:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas with the Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm.
