Wallace (Wally) Wieters, age 80, was called home on April 16, 2017. Wally was born on February 7, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas. This husband, father, grandfather is going to be greatly missed. Anyone knowing this man will certainly know why. Wally was employed by the San Antonio Express & News from 1956 to 1995. Wally is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley; two daughters, Cathy and Rita; one grandson, Dustin; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Wally with his family, will be held at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia from 6PM to 8PM on Friday, April 21, 2017.
