Joyce Carter entered into eternal rest on May 24, 2017 at the age of 94. She was born on February 18, 1923 in Mexia, Texas to Oscar Haywood and Ethel (Palmer) English. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Lester A. Carter; her parents; sisters, Hattie Mae Myer, Velva Evans, and Geneva Henneke. She is survived by the Carter brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
