Peter Lyssy, Sr., 88 of Kosciusko, Texas passed away on July 16, 2017 in Floresville, Texas. Peter was born on May 19, 1929 in Kosciusko, Texas to Edmund Lyssy and Emilia Kolodziej Lyssy. Peter is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lillian Lyssy; and son, Peter John Lyssy, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Pape and husband Ronnie; grandchildren, Lauren Pape, Jonathan Pape and Morgan Pape; sisters, Josephine Moczygemba (Lucian), Susan Bienek (Larry), and Eleanor Jarzombek; brother-in-law, Benjamin Kotara; sisters-in-law, Theresa Lyssy and Annie Lyssy; brother-in-law, Albert Pruski and wife Joan; sister-in-law, Alma Marie Skloss; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 5:30pm-8:00pm at St. Ann’s Catholic Parish-Kosciusko; the Rosary will be recited at 7:30pm.
