Inez (Canada) McGlothine, age 91, of Smiley, passed away July 28, 2017 in Victoria, Texas. She was born on May 23, 1926 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hirston E. and Evelyn (Thurman) Canada; her husband, Willie McGlothine; a daughter, Willa Dean McGlothine; and a brother, Billy Canada. Inez is survived by her daughters: Judy Ann Billings and husband Jim; Linda Chappell and husband Doug; a son, Sammy McGlothine; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; as well as other loving family and many friends.

The Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Smiley with visitation held at the church one hour before the service. The Rev. Marvin Miles will officiate with interment following at the Smiley Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
