Robert Stephen "Bob" Peck, age 76, passed away September 23, 2017 at his home in Smiley. He was born June 4, 1941 in Wheatland, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Nancy Todd Peck; and his wife, Florence Peck. He is survived by his beloved companion, Linda Warzecha; his children: Cindy Bell (Pat), Cole Jackson (Ann), Robin Wehmeyer; his grandchildren: Brenna Troy (Steve), Cody Box, Nichole Williams, Breanne Williams, Dusty, Taylor, and Shayla Wehmeyer, Lisa Joyner (Brandon), and Renee Bell; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Troy, Tatum Wehmeyer, Teal Wehmeyer, and Kynlee Bright; step-children: Lester Warzecha (Melissa), Anita Respondek (Jeff), and Stephen Warzecha (Mandy); step-grandchildren, Kyle and Abbie Respondek, & Devon and Kaela Warzecha; brother, John Peck (Sandra); sister, Mary Sue Sais (Raymond); numerous nieces and nephews; special cousin, Katie Garrett. Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He will be missed by his loving family, extended family, and many friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017, from 6 PM -8 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Finch Chapel with burial following at the Bundick Cemetery in Smiley, Texas. The retired Pastor Elaine Smith will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Westhoff American Legion.
