Juanita “Nita” Reeves passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her husband Ira Joe Reeves Sr.; daughter, Janette Peterson; father and mother, Alex and Mary Grimes; three brothers, Chuck, Jim and Raleigh Grimes; and one sister, Helen Gilson. She is survived by her three daughters, Joyce Ferrell and husband Ron, Jackie White and husband Jake, JoAnn Hall and husband Colin, and son Ira Joe Reeves, Jr. and wife Brenda; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, September 29, 2017, at 5:00pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
