Juanita Ybarra Naranjo, 89, of Corpus Christi, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017. She was born December 21, 1927 in Cuero to the late Fidel Ybarra and Juana Cano Ybarra.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hilarion Naranjo; daughters, Maria Elizondo and Juanita Gloria Perales; daughter-in-law, Theresa Naranjo; and grandson, Michael Naranjo.

She is survived by her children, Candido Naranjo, Hilarion Naranjo Jr (Sylvia), Ramon Naranjo (Virginia), Stephen Naranjo Sr (Rosalinda), Simon Naranjo, Domingo Naranjo (Sylvia), Petra “Patsy” Rodarte (Andrew), Irma Cano (Richard), Ray Rene Naranjo, Judy Edwards (Jonathan); brother, Ezequiel Ybarra; 21 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 27, 2017, 4:00 - 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass is Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 2:00pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Yorktown with Father Roger Hawes officiating. Interment will follow at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Naranjo Jr, Stevie Naranjo, Israel Elizondo Jr, Danny Guajardo, Andy Naranjo, Charlie Latta, Jasper Edwards and Jaxon Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Rodarte III, Leo Garza, Jeremy Naranjo and Randy Naranjo.
