Tom Powell Read, 68, passed away on October 1, 2017 at his home in Adkins, Texas. Tom was born on October 6, 1948 in San Angelo, Texas to Elkins (Pete) Read, Jr. and Wanda Lynn (Powell) Read. In May of 2003, he married Deborah Lynn Lamb. Tom is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Deborah Read; sons, Eldon Wayne Griffin (Misty), and Eric Scott Griffin (Stephanie); grandchildren, Madyson Mae Griffin, Ashtin Marie Griffin, Jayden Allen Griffin, Chrisafer Wayne Griffin, Aydon Wayne Griffin, and Trystyn Paige Griffin; sister, Nancy Read Kraft; nephews and niece, Alex, Andrew and Lacey Kraft; and great-nephew, Kye Mahoney.
