Vella Mae Krueger, 85, of Yorktown, passed away January 2, 2018. She was born February 14, 1932, in Karnes County, to the late Richard and Alma Jaeger Boerm.

Vella was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Emil C Krueger.

She is survived by her children, Randy Krueger (Glenda) and Brenda Gallagher; brother, Richard Boerm Jr (Jodel); 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside memorial service at Westside Cemetery at 1:00pm on Tuesday, Janaury 9, 2018, with Rev. Tim Muehlbrad officiating.
