Benito Garza, 71, of Yorktown, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born March 21, 1946, in Clarkwood, TX, to the late Catarino and Apolonia Villegas Garza.

Benito is preceded in death by his parents; son, Gabriel Garza Sr; daughter, Noemi Garza; 7 brothers; and 4 sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Julia Herrera Garza; children, Blanca Garcia (Toby Rodriguez), Beatriz Munoz (Martin Sr), Benny Garza Jr (Gloria), Angelica Cano (Joshua), Adolf Garza (Jennifer); sisters, Lucia Gonzales and Josefa Gonzales; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 16, 2018, 5:00 - 8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral service is Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 2:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kenneth McCarthy officiating. Interment will follow at Yorktown Community Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mikel Munoz, Nathaniel Varnado, Marty Munoz, Martin Munoz Jr, Gabriel Garza Jr, Raymond Ybarra, Ysidro Garza, and Martin Munoz III. Honorary pallbearers will be the great-grandchildren.
