Darlene Elizabeth Manka, 74 of Adkins, Texas passed away on January 30, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born Darlene Lowak on October 10, 1943 in Poth, Texas to Alex and Irene (Dlugosh) Lowak. Darlene married Rudolph Howard Manka, Sr. on June 20, 1964 in Floresville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Ann Vaclavik (Richard); brother, Wilfred Lowak; brother-in-law, Bobby Braun; and in-laws, Aloys and Francis Manka. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Rudolph Manka, Sr.; daughters, Marilyn Daniels (Tod), Audra Barba (Jeff), and Michele Nast; son, Rudolph H. Manka, Jr. (Jennifer); grandchildren, Kayla Daniels, Alexandra Daniels, Elizabeth Daniels, Amber Miller (Jacob), Wesley Powers, Blane Powers (Shelbie), Reid Barba, Ava Nast, Samantha Nast, Matthew Manka, and Hailey Manka; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Miller and Mozelle Powers; siblings, James Lowak (Henrietta), Milton Lowak (Theresa), Diane Braun, and Patricia “Peanut” Lowak; as well as numerous other loving family and friends. A visitation will be held Sunday, February 4, 2018, 5:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas; Rosary Vigil will be prayed at 7:00pm.
