Gina Michelle Hoofard, 42, of La Vernia, Texas passed away at home on March 4, 2018, surrounded by her family. Gina was born on October 27, 1975 in San Antonio, Texas to James “Jack” M. Hoofard and Patsy (Davenport) Hoofard. Gina is remembered by her family as a shining light in the world. She was someone who never met a stranger. Her presence will be greatly missed in her close-knit community. Gina is preceded in death by her father and her grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Patsy Hoofard; siblings, Glen Hoofard, Gary Davenport, Randall Hoofard, and Gary Hoofard; nieces, Alyssa Davenport, Kayla Davenport, Riley Hoofard, Skye Krogsgaard, and Kadie Cox; nephew, Jarrett Hoofard; Aunts and Uncles, Barbara and Cliff Lindsey, Charles and Faye Davenport, Tom and Neccia Davenport, Chuck and Kay Carver, Loretta Racer, David and Teenie Preddy, Douglas Taylor, Mary Lou Hoofard, and Charlie and Nancy Dunn; Special mom, Brenda Freeman; as well as numerous cousins and a host of many, many friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 5:00pm-8:00pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas.
