Maria Elena (Helen) “Preita” Miller, 72, of Magnolia, TX, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018. She was born July 22, 1945, in Yorktown, to Louis Gallegos, Sr and Emma Salinas Gallegos.

Maria was preceded in death by her father, Louis Gallegos Sr; brother, Louis Gallegos Jr; and sister, Elida Gallegos.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis L. Miller; mother, Emma Gallegos; brothers, Melvin Gallegos and Daniel Gallegos; sisters, Rebecca Gallegos-Cruz (David), Dora Mata (Arthur), Isabel Hinojosa (Frank), and Monica Nunez (Ray); numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm, Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Finch Funeral Chapel - Yorktown. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am, Friday, March 16, 2018, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Westside Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Melvin Gallegos, Daniel Gallegos, Shane Cruz, Frank Hinojosa Jr, Isaiah Mata, and Arthur Mata Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be David Cruz, Sarah Storey, Frank Hinojosa Sr, Ray Nunez, Arthur Mata Sr, Debbie Neitzey and Ernest Galindo.
