Clifford Ray  Campbell
Clifford Ray Campbell, 68, of St. Hedwig, Texas departed this life on April 2, 2018. He was born on September 11, 1949 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Charles R. and Rosa Lashhorn Campbell. Clifford served his country for eight years in the United States Air Force, and it was when he was stationed at Randolph AFB that he decided to make San Antonio his home. He worked for Cecil Atkinson in Castroville, Texas selling trucks, and later, he worked for Grande Ford in San Antonio. In 1989 he purchased a landscape maintenance business at the Dominion. He expanded his business by building soccer fields in the San Antonio and Austin areas. After his retirement, he enjoyed hay farming. Cliff is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Sam, Charles and Frederich Campbell; and sisters, Regina R. Gammon and Sallie A. Burrows; sister-in-law, Vaughn Neff Campbell; brothers-in-law, Lothar Puhlmann and Gerald Duelm. Cliff is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jeanie Duelm Campbell; son, Ross Campbell; grandsons, Dalton, Lane and Michael; sisters-in-law, Shirley Puhlmann and Linda Duelm; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, April 9, 2018, 10:00am-11:00am at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
