J.H. “Buddy” Wilson, 95, passed away peacefully at home on the farm in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Buddy was born on July 13, 1922 in Claretta, Oklahoma to Sampson Alfred Wilson and Lillie Mae (Ragen) Wilson. On July 12, 1947, Buddy eloped with Beulah Bingham in Guadalupe County, Texas. Buddy is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; daughter, Gail Wilson; daughter-in-law, Sharon Wilson; and granddaughter, Michelle Wilson. Buddy will be deeply missed by his wife of 70 years, Beulah Wilson; children, Doyle Wilson (Wanda), Diane Wilson, Gary Wilson, Sandra Shaw (Robert), and Alan Wilson (Liz); 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018, 5:00pm-8:00pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas.
