James Emmit English, 84, of Yorktown, passed away May 21, 2018. He was born July 15, 1933, in Uvalde, TX, to the late Walter and Minnie Causey English. James served in the Navy during the Korean War and was stationed at Sasebo, Japan. He worked for the USDA and retired as Animal Health Technician.

James was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Schenck English; and step-father, E W Anglin.

He is survived by his children, Norma Lynn Ward (Wayne), Courtney Fray (Lee) and Cody English; grandchildren, Jamie Smith, Joy Reyna, Katherine Fray and Emmitt Fray; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Yvonne (Ed) McPeak, Wanda (Henry) Gutierrez and Joyce (Louis) Ibanez; brother, E W Anglin; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
