Gary Michael Burns, born February 10, 1949 in Rice, Texas, was called home July 1, 2018 in Sutherland Springs, Texas at the age of 69. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Suedell (Hatley) Burns as well as a beloved friend Clay Zoeller and special Aunt, Goldie Burns, Aunt Harmolena Penny, and Uncle Curtis Penny. He is survived by his bride, Judy Jupe, that he eloped with 49 years ago in Columbus, Mexico. They were blessed with 3 boys, Travis (Shannon), Brady, and Dustin (Heather). He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in- law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Gary always lived by the Cowboy Code:
If it’s not yours, don’t take it.
If it’s not true, don’t say it.
If it’s not right, don’t do it.
