Obituary for Willie Molina Sr.

Willie Molina, Sr, 87, of Yorktown, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 59 years & family. He was born September 3, 1930, in Hope, TX, to the late Adolph and Felicita Maciel Molina.

Willie was united marriage to Mary Basquez on September 27, 1958. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1960 and was a Veteran of The Korean Conflict. Willie worked as a ranch hand, in the oilfied, and retired from Alcoa. He was a member of The Holy Cross Catholic Church, loved his family, being outdoors and taking care of his horses and mowing his yard.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Viola Vasquez and Anita Molina.

He will be sadly missed by his sons, Willie Jr. and Anthony Molina of Yorktown, Aaron Molina & Rachel Garcia of Nixon, daughter, Karen Molina Garza & Justin Pfeil, of Stockdale; grandchildren, Severo & Adrianna Garza, Sierra Garza and Sabrina Garza; brothers, Rudy and Olivia Molina, Johnny and Nonnie Molina, Tony and Debra Molina, Frank and Mary Helen; sisters, Olivia Torres & Maria Magdalena Molina Meza; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family.

Special thanks to Nurses In Touch Hospice, and all the loving nurses, DeTar Hospital, and Dr. Irfan R. Qureshi.

Visitation will be 5:00pm-8:00pm, Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Finch Funeral Chapel with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am, Monday, July 9, 2018, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Roger Hawes officiating. Interment will follow in San Pedro Cemetery in Concrete, TX.
