Drake Alexander Boatright, 3, of Leesville went to be with Christ, his Savior on Wednesday the 11th of July 2018 at Dell Children’s Hospital, Austin, TX.

Drake was born September 11, 2014 to his loving mother, Jennifer Boatright. Drake was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents, Richard & Onecima Bustamante and Dan & Dorothy Boatright. Drake is survived by his mother Jennifer Boatright of Leesville, Grandparents Danny & Adri Boatright of Leesville, his Uncle Doug and wife, Lacy of Leesville, along with his two cousins, Sadie and Rhett and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.

Drake was a special gift that we got to love and cherish. His infamous smile and huge sparkling eyes were just a few of his irresistible qualities that warmed the hearts of all who got to know him. Drake never met a stranger and had become quite the flirt with girls in his adventures at Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin, Texas.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 16, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Finch Chapel, with Deacon John Moreno officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Valley Cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made by bringing a stuffed animal to the funeral home for the family to take to Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin. During this time of sorrow, the family wishes to acknowledge and extended out heart felt appreciation to the many expressions of love, concern and kindness expressed to them.

Family and Friends are invited to a gathering at the Richardson Christian Center in Nixon, Texas following the services.
