Ideus WEESATCHE - Victor Ideus, 84, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2010 in Cuero, TX. He was born May 27, 1925 to Edwin and Helen Lude Ideus in Goliad County, TX. He loved his work at the hardware store for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Gladys Haun and Irene Shaw. Survivors are his loving wife of 56 years, Erline Schroedter Ideus, Weesatche; daughter, Laura (Wayne) Tiffin, Cuero; son, Ricky (Roberta) Ideus, Lake Jackson; granddaughter, Allison Tiffin; 4 step-grandchildren; 3 great step-grandchildren; sister, Nelrose Lowrance, Florida; along with a host of relatives and the best of friends.
Viewing will be 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 1, 2010 with family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 2 at St. Andrew‘s Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at St. Andrew‘s Lutheran Cemetery.
