Harvey James “Dusty” Yost Jr., age 63, died on December 29, 2012 in Gonzales, TX. He was born on August 19, 1949 in Biloxi, MS to Harvey James Yost Sr. and Mary Louise (Wilson) Fine. Harvey Honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey James Yost, Sr. Harvey is survived by his loving wife, Doris Yost; daughters, Aly Tschoepe and Sandy Yost; son, Dustin Yost; mother, Louise Fine; grandchildren, Madie Yost and Katy Tschoepe; sisters, Kathy Ballard, Sheila Brown, Elisha Williams, Melody Phelps, Deanna Smith, Cindy Simmons, and Vicki Terry; brothers, Gary Yost, Billy Levins, Eddie Yost, Joey Yost, and Mike Terry; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday, January 1, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel of Nixon. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Finch Funeral Chapel of Nixon with Rev. Michael Linton officiating. Interment will follow at the Bundick Cemetery near Smiley. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
