The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Vera Ploch can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Momma, We love you so much. Words cannot express what you mean to us. Your strength got us through the darkest of days and your genuine honesty always pointed us in the right direction. Brandy said it best, that no matter the time or distance, the "Rhodes Girls" always picked up where we left off. Brandy and I want to thank you for waiting for us to get off work and come see you to say our final goodbyes. We know a strong work ethic was so important to you, and that is forever instilled in both of us. So much of you is in us. We know it, love it, feel it everyday. We will forever cherish the early years and will never forget the sacrifices you made to give us all you could. We know it wasn\\\'t easy. We will forever remember your smile in the later years when you met, Leroy, the man who hung the moon and the stars.
